SUNDAY MORNING ADULT CLASS (9:15-10:15 a.m., Aldersgate Room, main level)
First Church believes in providing adults with a variety of classes to sustain them in their spiritual journey and to provide learning opportunities that enhance their faith development, at whatever stage of life they may be. Starting Sunday: Adult Education -- Steadfast Hope: The Palestinian Quest for a Just Peace. The class will meet January 10, 17, 24, 31 and be led by Connie Baker and Mary Eleanor Wall. This series is a study developed by the Presbyterian Church of the Israel/Palestinian conflict that seeks to help us understand the “facts on the ground” so that, as Christians and as a Church, we embrace our calling as followers of the Price of Peace in the land of his birth, the land we call holy.
